چکیده
Introduction: To evaluate the functional outcome following internal fixation of intraarticular fractures distal humerus (AO Type C) with a minimum follow-up twelve months.Materials and Methods: This prospective study was carried out at Orthopaedics Department Government Medical College, Srinagar Kashmir. A total 170 consecutive patients were recruited from Emergency outpatient departments treated open anatomical reduction plating lag screw. Functional evaluations elbow joints evaluated Broberg Morrey rating index. All followed for months. Results: united in an average 3.2 months (range 7-19 weeks). The results excellent 66.47% good 22.35% final follow-up. Complications found who had insignificant delayed unions which next 3 weeks, 7.05% insignificance malunion, 5.83% ulnar nerve neurapraxia, developed stiffness. Conclusions: We conclude that is effective procedure or majority patients. Patients have high level satisfaction return to their previous activity.

DISPLACED- COMMINUTED INTRAARTICULAR FRACTURES OF THE ADULT DISTAL HUMERUS: FUNCTIONAL RESULTS AFTER INTERNAL FIXATION
Background: Intra-articular T- type or Y- type fractures of the distal end of the humerus are relatively rare, and consequently few surgeons will be able to attain extensive experience with the surgical treatment of these injuries. The current emphasis is on operative intervention with rigid internal fixation and early mobilization. Methods: In this prospective and retrospective study, we r...

The aim of this study was to evaluate the functional outcome following internal fixation of intraarticular fractures of the distal humerus (AO Type C) with a minimum follow-up of two years. A retrospective evaluation with prospective clinical review was carried out. Twenty-six consecutive patients with fractures of the distal humerus were treated over a 31-month period. Their mean age was 56 ye...

متن کاملThe functional outcome of surgically treated unstable pelvic ring fractures by open reduction, internal fixation
Abstract Background: Unstable Pelvic fracture, a result of high energy antero-posterior compression injury, has been managed based on internal fixation and open reduction. The mode of fixation in Unstable Pelvic fracture has, however, been a subject of controversy and some authors have proposed a need to address the issue of partial breach of the pelvic ring elements in these injuries. This st...
متن کاملOpen Reduction and Internal Fixation of Distal Humerus Fractures
The goal in the management of distal humerus fractures is to obtain rigid internal fixation that allows immediate rehabilitation of the extremity. The advent of anatomic plating systems as well a systematic approach to these injuries facilitates these goals. This article outlines our approach to these complex problems from injury through rehabilitation.
